Event description:

 Participation Rules

  • Each team should consist of 8–12 participants.

  • Participants will bring their own props. (if required)

  • A participant may be a member of only one team.

 Performance Guidelines

  • The duration of the street play should be 8–10 minutes.

  • Language used will be Hindi

  • Exceeding the time limit may result in a deduction of marks.

  • The performance should be presented in a clear and engaging manner.

  • The play should effectively highlight a social issue and propose practical solutions.

  • Teams may incorporate slogans, songs, chants, group performances, and audience interaction to enhance the impact of their presentation.

  • The script and presentation should be original and creative.

  • The message should be positive, constructive, and solution-oriented.

  • Present both the problem and its solution.

  • Ensure every team member contributes to the performance.

Content Guidelines

  • The presentation should focus on creating awareness and encouraging responsible behavior.

  • Content must be respectful and free from offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language.

  • Sensitive topics such as mental health, cybercrime, bullying, and ragging should be handled thoughtfully and responsibly.

  • The play should not glorify violence, discrimination, substance abuse, or harmful behaviors.

  • The conclusion should inspire positive action and social responsibility.

 Costumes and Props

  • Costumes should be simple, appropriate, and relevant to the theme.

  • Minimal props are encouraged, keeping with the traditional spirit of Nukkad Natak.

  • Posters, placards, banners, and handmade materials may be used.

  • The use of dangerous, flammable, or hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.

  • Participants must ensure that school property and event facilities are not damaged.

 Music and Sound

  • Traditional street-play elements such as clapping, rhythmic chanting, and live music are encouraged.

  • Simple instruments such as drums, tambourines, or hand percussion may be used.

  • Music and sound effects should support the message and not overshadow the performance.

 Discipline and Conduct

  • Participants must maintain discipline and decorum throughout the event.

  • Teams should respect fellow participants, judges, organizers, and the audience.

  • Any form of misconduct, disruption, or violation of rules may lead to disqualification.

  • Teams are expected to cooperate with event coordinators and follow all instructions.

Mandatory requirements for registration:

The registration fee is Rs 150/- per participant.

Participants registering through school need to upload the below soft copies in the registration form

● Bonafide certificate on the school letterhead

● The school ID card
