Categories and age criteria is as follows:

 

U-16 Girls - Born or after 01/01/2008

U-16 Boys - Born or after 01/01/2008

U-18 Girls - Born or after 01/01/2006

U-18 Boys - Born or after 01/01/2006

Rules and Regulations

• A team should have 5+7 players in a  category 

• Once registered, the players cannot be shuffled

• The game will be conducted as per the rules and regulations of the BFI (Basketball Federation of India).

• The matches will be played on the knock-out basis

• All the preliminary matches will be played for 10 minutes running time per quarter

• The final matches will be played with 10 minutes running time per quarter. 

• In any match, including the finals, if there is a tie; extension of 5 minutes shall be given till the game is decided

• Each participant must strictly observe the sports uniform/team uniform.

• Protests filed with proof before the match or within an hour of the match pertaining to age/category discrepancies will be considered. The protests must be in writing and must be accompanied by a fee of Rs.1000/- (rupees one thousand only) along with valid proof

•  The referees’ decisions will be final and binding on the players and the school representatives

• All players/participants and the coaches/school representatives are expected to abide by all the rules and regulations set by the organizing committee of the host school

• The organizers shall not be held responsible for any injuries, inappropriate behavior of participants/coaches or any loss of personal belongings
