GENERAL GUIDELINES

  1. All events will be conducted at Deens Academy, Gunjur - Mugalur Road ,         Kathriguppe Village, Bengaluru- 562125

  3. Participants must report at the host school registration desk at 8:00 AM

  4. Participants will need to display a valid school ID at the registration desk , on the day of the event

  5. Participant ID will be given to the participants, post document verification. You can reach the event coordinator for confirming your registrations and for any clarifications at: volksfiesta@deensacademy.com

  6. Adult intervention during any of the events will lead to disqualification and loss of points

  7. The host school reserves the right to deny registration of a participant / team should the documents requested not comply with the guidelines

  8. Details regarding the results, prizes and certificates will be communicated to the participating schools after each event/at the closing ceremony. 

  9. Food stalls will be set-up with a variety of delicacies at reasonable rates , on all days

  10. Each participating school must be accompanied by 2 coaches for the sporting events and 2 teachers/coaches for the cultural events. Lunch will be provided for all faculty members attending the event.

  11. Participants are responsible for their own belongings. Classrooms will be allotted to all the participating schools. The host school will not be held responsible for any loss of property

  12. The decision of the judges will be final and binding

Instructions to Participating Schools

Teacher Supervision

  • Each school must assign at least 1 teacher to be physically present and supervise each event the student/team participates in.

Waiting Room Protocol

  • A dedicated waiting room will be allotted to each school.

  • All waiting rooms are equipped with CCTV

  • Dedicated green rooms for Boys and Girls will be assigned for specific events. Students may use these rooms to change their costumes. Overcrowding is discouraged. 

Participant Movement

  • Deens volunteers will escort students to and from event venues to their assigned waiting rooms.

Registration Guidelines

  • Upon arrival, the designated teacher must:

    • Register all participants at the Registration Desk.

    • Proceed with students to the designated area 

  • After the ceremony, students will be guided by Deens Volunteers to their waiting rooms.

Discipline and Safety

Respect for School Property

  • Students must not tamper with:

  • Desks, projectors, computers, teaching aids.

  • Books, charts, posters, cupboards, or any classroom material.

Security Measures

  • CCTV cameras are installed in all rooms. Tampering with the cameras is strictly prohibited.

Cleanliness

  • Students must:

    • Use dustbins located throughout the school for waste.

    • Maintain hygiene in washrooms and all school spaces.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

  1. Registrations will be done online via deensevents.com
    • The registration fee is ₹150 per participant and must be paid online at the time of registration. For team events, the registration fee is ₹150 for each team member. 

    • Register at the earliest. Seats are limited! Last date for registration is 22nd June, 2026

    • A soft copy of the Bonafide certificate on the school letterhead is needed during the online registration. A soft copy of the school ID card  will also need to be uploaded.

    • Confirmation of participation in an event is guaranteed only on receiving the receipt of payment and vetting of documents. This will also depend on the number of registrations for that particular event

    • Registration fee is non-refundable
