GUIDELINES:

1. Categories and age criteria is as follows:

 

           U-15 Girls - Born or after 01/01/2008

           U-15 Boys - Born or after 01/01/2008

           U-18 Girls - Born or after 01/01/2005

           U-18 Boys - Born or after 01/01/2005

1. A team should have 5+7 players for category

2. Once registered, players cannot be shuffled

3. The game will be conducted as per the rules and regulations of the BFI (Basketball Federation of India).

4. The matches will be played on a knock-out basis

5. All the preliminary matches will be played for 10 minutes running time per quarter

6. The final matches will be played for 10 minutes running time per quarter

7. In any match, including the finals, if there is a tie, an extension of 5 minutes shall be given till the game is decided

8. All the teams must report at the venue thirty minutes before the scheduled match

9. Any one of the following documents may be submitted as proof of the date of birth of the player in photocopy duly attested by the school principal

10. Protests filed with proof before the match or within an hour of the match pertaining to age/category discrepancies will be considered. The protests must be in writing and must be accompanied by a fee of Rs.1000/- (rupees one thousand only) along with valid proof.
