Event description:

• Each participant will be provided with 5 random words and
  one specific emotion (e.g., joy, grief, fear, nostalgia, etc.)

• The participant must compose a short poem (8-12 lines) that: Uses all five words
  Metaphorically captures or conveys the assigned emotion

• The words and emotion will be given on the spot, and participants will have 20 minutes to write their poem.

• Participants will then recite or present their poem to a panel of judges. Time per presentation: 2 minutes

• The use of gadgets and the Internet is strictly prohibited

• Plagiarism or pre-written material will lead to disqualification.

• Poems can be in English only
