Event description:

• Designers and models will showcase modern day outfits inspired by traditional attire from countries across the world. 

• Ramp Walk (5-6 minutes per team), including entry, exit.

• A short talk on the inspiration behind the designs and question answer session (3-4 minutes).

• Designers will explain the country and culture represented, the traditional elements reimagined, the fabric or pattern choices and any symbolic significance of the choices made.

• Duration of 1 hour will be given before the event commences, for last minute adjustments and final make-up.

• All outfits must be prepared beforehand by the participants. Only the ramp walk and explanation will happen during the event.

• Teams must prepare their own audio track (Indian/western-vocal/instrumental) for the ramp walk (5-6 mins) on their own google drive and share the drive link via email to gunjur.events@deensacademy.com by 19th of August(in mp3 format).

• The file should be labeled as School name_Ancestry to attire music .The subject of the mail should be: School name_Ancestry to attire music. 

• Outfit must draw inspiration from a real traditional dress of a country or region.

• Design must be original, modest, and respectful to the culture.

• Students may upcycle, stitch, or assemble from existing clothes creatively.

• The costumes and song choice must be appropriate for the school level event.

• The participants must ensure that the collection and audiotrack are not offensive to any individual/religion/ethnic group.
