Event description:

• Participants will rap on the topic/theme which will be provided on the spot.

• The participants will be given a topic and 60 minutes to prepare a poem on it

• At the end of the 60-minute mark, the teams will have to present their work in the form of a rap.

• The duration of the presentation should be between 1.5 to 2 minutes 

• While presenting the rap, the teams have to provide a beat for the rap

• Musical accompaniment/instrument not requiring electrical support  may be used when performing, and the contestants are allowed to sing, clap, hum, beatbox or tap

• The rap has to be original and in English language only

• The words/lyrics should not be vulgar/explicit/offensive by any means. The words/lyrics must not be derogatory towards any ethnic group, religion or individual.

• The rap has to be an original creation and will lead to immediate disqualification if found to be plagiarised

• All participants of each team must have equal contribution on the stage.

• Not following the rules and regulations will lead to penalties

• Exceeding the time limit will lead to deduction of points

• Usage of any vulgar lyrics will lead to immediate disqualification
