Ode to Code
The Age of AI is upon us. It's time to see whether we have the skills to develop the next generation of machines. Welcome to the code war, where the only language we speak is Code.
Event Type: Solo
Who can participate: Grades 9-12
Maximum number of participants in the event: 40
Maximum number of participants per school: 2
Number of rounds: 1
Participants will be assigned a series of questions,to be solved in a total of 3 hours.
The questions can be solved in any of the following languages: Python, Java, C, C++.
Participants will receive the link of the contest hosted on HackerRank
Participants are requested to sign up on HackerRank beforehand, and remember their login credentials, as they will be required to log in to access the contest
Participants will use the computers in the hosting school’s computer lab
Participants can attempt challenges on HackerRank, to get familiar with its interface
Each Challenge has several Test Cases, with individual points. Passing These Test Cases awards you points
The Contestant with the highest points will be the winner. A live leaderboard will be accessible to all participants
In the case of a tie, we consider time as well. The time spent on each challenge is assessed from when it is viewed, and the one with the lower time gets a higher rank
